Central Singapore

Central Singapore, as used in this guide, covers Bukit Timah, Tanglin, Orchard, River Valley, Novena, Thomson, Toa Payoh, Woodleigh and the Queenstown and Alexandra areas. It has the densest cluster of international schools on the island, from long-established British and IB schools to small boutique primaries, Swiss, Dutch and Korean national schools along Bukit Tinggi Road, and newer city-centre campuses in office towers. The area is well served by MRT lines, making school commutes manageable even without a car.
