The Winstedt School

Unclaimed
Inclusive British-curriculum school in Kallang for students aged 4-18, known for small classes and in-house therapists for diverse learners.
The Winstedt School

The Winstedt School was founded in 2008. It occupies a former school building at 1208 Upper Boon Keng Road in Kallang and takes students from Reception to Year 13 (ages 4-18). It is designed for children who learn differently, including those with dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum profiles or language delays. The curriculum stays mainstream while teaching is heavily adapted, and the school calls its approach the Winstedt Way.

Teaching is based on the English National Curriculum, with elements of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC). Older students take Pearson Edexcel qualifications, and graduates receive a WASC-accredited Winstedt Diploma. Enrolment is about 200, with an educator-to-student ratio of around 1:4. Occupational, speech and language therapists and psychologists work alongside teachers in the classroom. Social-emotional learning (Second Step) runs throughout the school.

The school holds WASC accreditation, awarded through the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) with renewal due in 2029, and EduTrust certification. It is a COBIS member and part of FOBISIA and SENIA networks. Facilities include two gyms, a 350-seat auditorium, a STEAM lab, science, art and music rooms, therapy clinics, a futsal pitch, courts and playgrounds. Tuition for 2026-27 runs from about S$43,000 in Reception to about S$60,500 in Years 9-13, and integrated therapy is included.
