Knightsbridge House International School (KBH) opened in 2021. Its founder, entrepreneur John Fearon, set out to offer a Cambridge education for a small fraction of what premium international schools in Singapore charge. The main campus fills about 40,000 sq ft of a commercial tower at Connection One on Jalan Bukit Merah and covers Year 1 to Year 13. A second campus in Plaza 8 at Changi Business Park opened in August 2025 for Years 1-8 and serves families in the east. The school also has a partner campus in Thailand.
Teaching follows the Cambridge International pathway throughout: Cambridge Primary for Years 1-6, Cambridge Lower Secondary for Years 7-9, IGCSE for Years 10-11, and AS and A Levels in Years 12-13. The A Level programme was added recently, after the first IGCSE cohort graduated. Instruction is in English, and the school offers Mandarin enrichment. It is listed as a Cambridge International School and, like other private schools in Singapore, is registered with the national regulator for private education.
The school reports more than 40 nationalities and over 600 students across its two Singapore campuses. Base tuition has stayed at S$12,000 plus GST (S$13,080) since the school opened, with no application, registration or enrolment fees. Bukit Merah has a science laboratory, a library and an indoor playground. Changi adds outdoor sports space. Extracurricular options include swimming, football, gymnastics, robotics, drama and an inter-house sports day.
