The Swiss School in Singapore (SSiS) opened in 1967 as a non-profit school for the Swiss expatriate community and is one of the small group of officially recognised Swiss schools abroad. It occupies a single campus on Swiss Club Road in Bukit Timah, where low-rise buildings sit among mature trees on the grounds of the Swiss Club.
Teaching follows the curriculum of the Swiss canton of Zug, delivered bilingually: a German stream taught in German and English, and a French stream taught in French and English. The school covers early years (from about age 2) through Primary 6, and has a partnership with UWCSEA that gives pupils a route into secondary education, including its German-language programme leading to the IGCSE and IB Diploma.
Enrolment is around 300 pupils. Swiss families make up the largest group, with many German and French families and a mix of other nationalities. Most teachers are recruited from Switzerland. Pupils can use Swiss Club facilities including a swimming pool, playing field and sports hall alongside the school's own play areas and outdoor court. For 2026/27, fees including GST run from about S$23,700 for half-day Kindergarten to about S$30,400 in Primary 6, plus a building and facility fee of S$6,300 in the first year and about S$2,500 a year after that.
