Singapore Korean International School

Singapore Korean International School (SKIS) opened in March 1993 to serve Korean families in Singapore. It has occupied its campus on Bukit Tinggi Road, in the Bukit Timah area, since 2010. It added a middle school and kindergarten in 2011 and a high school in 2012. The campus is a three-storey teaching block with a gymnasium, dining hall and specialist rooms on a site of about 11,000 square metres.

The school follows the South Korean national curriculum, supported by the Korean Ministry of Education, with international elements. English and Chinese are taught alongside Korean, and older students can take Advanced Placement courses. The academic year follows the Korean calendar, running from March to February. Admissions are aimed mainly at Korean-speaking children.

As of March 2026 the school had about 300 students in 14 classes, from K1 to Grade 12, taught by a mix of Korean and international staff. A free shuttle bus runs between the school and the nearby Opp The Nexus bus stop. Tuition is billed per semester and, including GST, comes to about S$13,800 a year in kindergarten, rising to about S$25,800 in high school, plus a one-off entrance fee.
