Thailand

Thailand hosts a well-established and thriving international school sector, anchored by Bangkok's large expatriate community and extending to resort cities including Phuket and the cultural hub of Chiang Mai. Bangkok alone is home to dozens of accredited international schools, ranging from long-standing institutions with decades of history to newer schools catering to the fast-growing digital nomad and remote-working family community. British, IB, and American curricula all have strong representation in Thailand. Bangkok's international school belt runs through areas like Sukhumvit, Nonthaburi, and the Bangna-Trad corridor, where many large campuses are located within easy reach of the city's major business districts. Phuket has seen significant growth in its international school sector over the past decade, driven by the island's appeal to long-stay expat families and remote workers. Thailand is also notable as one of the few Southeast Asian countries with a significant boarding school sector, with several schools offering full boarding programmes for secondary-age students. Fees range from approximately USD 5,000 at smaller local-international schools to USD 35,000 at flagship British and IB campuses in Bangkok.
