Bangkok

Bangkok is the largest international school market in Southeast Asia outside Singapore, with dozens of accredited schools serving the Thai capital's enormous expatriate population of professionals, diplomats, and long-term residents. Schools are clustered in several distinct areas of the city: the Sukhumvit corridor (particularly On Nut and Bearing) for families in central Bangkok, the Bangna-Trad area for those living in Bangkok's eastern suburbs, and Nonthaburi for families in the northwest. Bangkok's international schools cover the full spectrum of curricula — British IGCSE and A-Level, IB (PYP, MYP, and Diploma), American AP, and more specialist options including French, German, and Japanese-curriculum schools serving national community groups. Fees are generally lower than Singapore but comparable to Kuala Lumpur, ranging from approximately USD 7,000 to USD 35,000 per year.
