Samut Prakan and the Suvarnabhumi corridor, just beyond Bangkok's south-eastern boundary, take in Bang Phli, Bang Sao Thong, Samrong and the Bangna-Trad road. Gated communities, golf estates and the airport's proximity attract many expatriate families, and the area's larger plots have allowed several schools to build spacious campuses with boarding houses, sports fields and pools.
