Concordian International School was founded in 2001 by Varnnee Chearavanont Ross. It began at Thana City and moved in 2006 to its current purpose-built campus on the Bangna-Trad Highway at kilometre 7, in Bang Kaeo, Bang Phli district (Samut Prakan), just past the Bang Na boundary of Bangkok. It is a private, co-educational, non-denominational school with about 1,100 students.
The school offers the full IB continuum: the Early Years and Primary Years Programmes (Pre-K to Grade 5), the Middle Years Programme (Grades 6–10) and the Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12). Its main feature is trilingual teaching. Up to Grade 5, children are taught in English, Mandarin and Thai. From Grade 6, English is the main language, with Chinese and Thai continuing as language subjects. Teachers come from North America, the UK and Australia, with Chinese-section staff from China and Taiwan.
Concordian is an authorised IB World School and is accredited by the Council of International Schools and NEASC. It is a member of EARCOS and ISAT. Annual tuition is about THB 626,400 in Pre-K, THB 793,800 in Grades 1–5, THB 877,800 in Grades 6–10 and THB 963,400 in the two Diploma years.
