The American School of Bangkok Green Valley

The American School of Bangkok Green Valley (ASBGV) opened in 1997 as the second campus of the American School of Bangkok, which began in 1983 as Didyasarin International Kindergarten. It now operates separately from the Sukhumvit campus, which joined XCL Education in 2022. The school is inside a gated community at Km 15 on the Bangna-Trad Road in Bang Phli, Samut Prakan, on the eastern edge of Bangkok towards Suvarnabhumi Airport. The site was built to hold up to 2,000 students and has extensive green space.

ASBGV teaches an American curriculum based on the Common Core and the Next Generation Science Standards from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12, and builds mindfulness practice into the school day. High school students can take Advanced Placement courses towards the AP Capstone and AP International Diplomas, or follow the IB Diploma Programme. Most teachers come from the United States or Canada, and English-language support is available for Grades 1 to 10. The school is recognised by the Thai Ministry of Education and accredited by NEASC. Its International Preparatory Golf Academy combines full-time golf training with academics.

Boys and girls live in separate supervised dormitories for Grades 6 to 12, and activities include robotics, F1 in Schools, an eco-car project, scuba and inter-school sports. Tuition for 2026–2027 is charged per semester: THB 215,000 for Pre-Kindergarten, THB 303,500 for Grades 1 to 5, THB 345,000 for Grades 6 to 8 and THB 380,000 for Grades 9 to 12, with two semesters a year. Meals and books are included. Boarding is THB 181,125 per semester, and new students pay a THB 200,000 registration fee.
