Thai-Chinese International School (TCIS)

Thai-Chinese International School (TCIS) was founded in 1995 to serve Taiwanese and Thai families. It is a private, non-profit day school in Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan, near Mega Bangna and Suvarnabhumi Airport. Taiwan's Ministry of Education once listed it as an overseas Taiwanese school; that ended in 2006, and the school now teaches an international programme for students of many nationalities.

TCIS teaches an American college-preparatory curriculum aligned to the Common Core from age 2 (Pre-K) to Grade 12. Core subjects are taught in English by North American teachers. Students also study Mandarin (with both traditional and simplified characters) and Thai with Taiwanese and Thai teachers. High school students can take College Board Advanced Placement courses, and the school is a candidate for the IB Diploma Programme. It has held WASC accreditation since 2002 and is a member of EARCOS and ISAT. Enrolment is a little over 660 students.

The elementary, middle and high schools each have their own building. The campus has an artificial-turf football field and outdoor basketball courts, and students compete in BISAC sports. After-school academic, sports and enrichment programmes are offered. For 2026–27, tuition in Grades 7–9 is about THB 490,000 a year, billed by semester. Mandarin support, ELL support and materials cost extra.
