St Andrews International School Samakee is a small British-curriculum school on Soi Tiwanon 48 in Nonthaburi, just north of Bangkok and about five minutes from Nichada Thani. 'Samakee' means togetherness in Thai, and the school builds its ethos around this. It has its own buildings for early years, primary and secondary, set in green grounds with playing fields, a children's farm and a new 25-metre swimming pool. Class sizes are kept small.
The school follows the English National Curriculum. It runs from a Little Learners parent-and-toddler group (ages 1–2) and the EYFS (ages 2–5), through Years 1 to 5, to an Upper Phase for Years 6 to 9 (ages 10–14) taught by subject specialists. Subjects include English, maths, science, computer science, history, geography, art and design, Spanish, Thai, music, design lab, PE and swimming. From 2027/28 the Upper School will add Years 10 and 11 with IGCSE courses. A Nurture Centre provides special educational needs support with an external clinic. Samakee has held Education Development Trust's ISQM Gold award since 2012 and is recognised as a British School Overseas.
Facilities include a makerspace, design lab, science laboratories, art, dance and drama studios, a library and media centre, a basketball court, sports fields, sandpits and a bike track. For 2026–27, Years 1 to 9 cost THB 736,200 a year (THB 368,100 a term). Lunch and snacks are included. Nursery and Reception fees run from THB 284,200 a year (three mornings a week) to THB 648,100 (five full days). There is a THB 4,000 application fee and a THB 90,000 one-time enrolment fee.
