Phuket

Phuket has developed a significant international school sector over the past two decades, driven by the island's large and growing community of expatriate residents — including professionals in the tourism, property, and hospitality industries, as well as a substantial number of remote-working families attracted by Phuket's beaches, lifestyle, and relatively low cost of living. Phuket's international schools are spread between Kathu in the centre of the island, Phuket Town and Chalong in the south-east, and Thalang in the north, near the airport, Laguna and Cherngtalay. Families can choose between British IGCSE and A-Level, IB, American and French curricula, and two schools take boarders. Class sizes are generally smaller and the community atmosphere stronger than on the large Bangkok campuses.
