UWC Thailand International School is part of the United World Colleges movement, which uses education to bring together young people from different nations and cultures. The school's campus is on Thepkasattri Road in Thalang, in the north of Phuket island, within easy reach of the airport, Laguna and the west-coast residential areas.
UWC Thailand teaches an International Baccalaureate continuum education from Pre-Kindergarten through to Grade 12, ending in the IB Diploma. Around 580 students attend, representing more than 75 national identities, with a teacher-to-student ratio of about 1:6 and an average class size of 18. Mindfulness, outdoor learning, sailing and community engagement are distinctive parts of school life.
The school takes both day and boarding students, with more than 120 boarders, which makes it one of the few boarding options on Phuket. Contact the admissions team for current day and boarding fees.
