The Perse School (Singapore) opened in 2025 under licence from The Perse School, an independent school founded in Cambridge, England, in 1615. It occupies a low-rise campus with terracotta roofs at 58 Chestnut Drive in Upper Bukit Timah, next to the Bukit Timah and Central Catchment nature areas. The campus is designed for more than 1,400 students. It has specialist science labs, a performing arts studio, a culinary lab, a multi-purpose hall, an all-weather playing field, outdoor learning spaces and a centre for entrepreneurship.
Children start in the Pelicans section (Nursery to Year 2, ages 3–7), where an optional English–Mandarin bilingual programme runs. They move on to the Junior School (ages 7–11) and then the Senior School (ages 11–18). The school follows the Cambridge international curriculum through to IGCSE examinations at the end of Year 11, and its Sixth Form will offer A Levels from August 2027. Mandarin, Japanese and French are taught as additional languages, and EAL and learning-support programmes are available for an extra fee.
Around 700 students are enrolled, and the school caps any single nationality at about 30 percent. For 2026–27, annual course fees including GST are about S$27,600 for Nursery and Reception, S$28,200 for Years 1–6 and S$34,000 for Years 7–11. One-off application and assessment fees are charged on top. Door-to-door school buses run across much of Singapore.
