Singapore American School (SAS)

Singapore American School (SAS) opened in 1956 with 105 students and is now one of the largest single-campus international schools in Asia, with more than 4,000 students from Pre-K to Grade 12. It is a non-profit school on a campus of about 36 acres at 40 Woodlands Street 41 in the north of Singapore.

SAS follows an American curriculum leading to a US high school diploma. High school students choose from more than 25 Advanced Placement courses and AP Capstone, as well as the school's own Advanced Topics and Catalyst programmes. The school does not offer the IB. The Early Learning Centre and an elementary Chinese-immersion programme serve younger children.

The campus has four swimming pools, including a 50-metre pool, along with extensive arts and athletics facilities. SAS is WASC-accredited and does not offer boarding. For 2026–27, tuition runs from about S$32,500 in Early Childhood to about S$43,800 in Grades 9–12, plus an annual facility fee of about S$9,000 and a one-off registration fee for new students.
