Dalat International School Penang

Dalat International School was founded in 1929 by the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Dalat, Vietnam, as a boarding school for missionary children. It later moved to Bangkok and the Cameron Highlands before settling in Penang, where it now occupies a campus on Jalan Tanjung Bungah on the island's north coast.

Dalat offers an American, college-preparatory curriculum from Pre-school 3 through Grade 12, organised into an Elementary School (P3 to Grade 4), a Middle School (Grades 5 to 8) and a High School (Grades 9 to 12), with around 700 students. The school's Christian ethos and biblical worldview are central to its culture. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), and graduates go on to universities in the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia and across Asia.

Dalat is one of the few Penang schools with a boarding programme, which suits families whose work involves travel or who live outside Penang. The Tanjung Bungah campus is also convenient for the expat community along the north coast. Contact the admissions team for current day and boarding fees.
