Marlborough College Malaysia

Marlborough College Malaysia (MCM) was established in 2012 as an extension of Marlborough College, the co-educational independent boarding school in Wiltshire, England, and keeps close links with the UK school. It sits on a purpose-built 90-acre estate on Jalan Marlborough in Iskandar Puteri, in the Iskandar Malaysia development zone on the western side of Johor Bahru, about 17 km from the Woodlands Causeway and 20 km from the Second Link at Tuas.

The College takes pupils from age 3 to 18 across a Pre-Prep School (ages 3 to 8), Prep School (8 to 13), Senior School (13 to 16) and Sixth Form (16 to 18). The curriculum broadly follows and extends the British National Curriculum, with IGCSE courses in the Remove and Hundred years (Years 10 and 11). In the Sixth Form pupils take the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, which MCM has taught since August 2014, and a Pre-IB Programme helps new pupils make the transition. Sixth Form academic scholarships are offered.

Day boarding and full boarding are available from Year 5, and boarders come from across Asia and further afield. MCM says about three-quarters of its pupils are expatriates, most of them from families based in Singapore and Malaysia. Published 2026/27 tuition, excluding 6% SST, runs from RM 63,000 a year in Nursery and RM 119,400 in Pre-Prep to RM 166,800 for day pupils in the Sixth Form, with full boarding from RM 203,700 (Years 5 and 6) to RM 259,800 (Sixth Form).
