Singapore National Academy (SNA) was founded in 2004 as part of the Piaget group of schools and opened its South Campus in 2005. It serves Indonesian and expatriate families in Greater Surabaya and takes children from age 2 to 18. The main campus, which runs from early years to secondary, is at Pondok Maspion in Waru, Sidoarjo, just south of the Surabaya city boundary, while a second, smaller campus at PLA Darmo in Tanjungsari, West Surabaya, teaches early years and primary.
The school blends curricula by stage. Its Early Learning Centre (PG1 to K2) combines the Singapore curriculum with Montessori, the primary school (Years 1 to 6) follows the Singapore curriculum, and the high school (Years 7 to 12) follows the Cambridge International curriculum to IGCSE and AS and A Level. SNA became a Cambridge International Centre in 2009 and has been an authorised College Board SAT test centre since 2013. Programmes beyond the classroom include the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, immersion trips, learning journeys and a student internship programme, and the school recruits expatriate teachers.
The Waru campus has air-conditioned classrooms, science laboratories, an indoor sports hall, covered basketball and futsal courts and a tennis court. A school bus runs from West Surabaya to the main campus for an extra monthly charge. Fees are not published on the website; contact the enrolment team for the current fee schedule and a free two-day trial class.
