Uluwatu School opened in August 2025 in Pecatu, on Bali's Bukit Peninsula, on a campus converted from the former home and studio of the artist Ashley Bickerton. It is a co-educational day school for families living in and around Uluwatu, Bingin and Jimbaran.
The school takes children from Grade 1 to Grade 8, split into Primary (Grades 1–5) and a middle school programme called Reef to Reef (Grades 6–8). Its own place-based, inquiry-led curriculum covers language arts, maths, science, creative arts and global studies, with ocean literacy running through everything: marine ecosystem studies, beach research and surf-based ocean skills. It uses the SEE Learning social and emotional framework from Emory University. Third-party sources say its standards are benchmarked to UK literacy and US Common Core maths and that its SPK licence is in progress.
The school day runs 9am to 3:15pm, and there is no bus service yet. Published 2026–27 tuition for international students runs from about IDR 125 million a year in Grades 1–2 to IDR 156 million in Grades 7–8, with lower rates for Indonesian students and annual levies on top.
