
Taman Rama Intercultural School (TRIS) is a private SPK school in Ubung, North Denpasar, run by Yayasan Taman Mahatma Gandhi for local and expatriate families. Its philosophy draws on Gandhi's principle of non-violence, Pancasila and Indonesia's motto 'Unity in Diversity', and the school motto is 'In the Pursuit of Excellence'. The main building is a four-storey block with a covered sports hall.
TRIS has been a registered Cambridge International School since 2003 and teaches the whole Cambridge pathway: Early Years from age two, Cambridge Primary with Checkpoint in Year 6, Lower Secondary with Checkpoint in Year 8, IGCSE in Years 9–10 and AS and A Level in Years 11–12. Indonesian students also sit the national exams in Years 6, 9 and 12. Language options include Indonesian, French, Mandarin and Japanese, and preschool is taught in English by native speakers.
The school received an 'A' rating from Indonesia's national accreditation board, announced in January 2026, and alumni have gone on to universities in Australia and Canada. TRIS is a separate school from Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School in Renon. Fees are not published; contact the school for current figures.
