Grow in Kedungu

Grow in Kedungu opened in August 2025 among the rice fields of Kedungu in Tabanan, a few minutes from the beach and a short drive from Pererenan and Canggu. It was founded by educator and head of school Alexine Haus with designer Bo Buysschaert and Omri Ben-Canaan of the Bali-based Kosong Satu Group. The campus has a covered sports field, a playground, a small animal farm, a fruit and vegetable garden and a cafeteria serving meals from its own kitchen and bakery.

The school takes children from Kindergarten (ages four and five) to Grade 6. It mainly follows the Cambridge Primary curriculum framework, taught with inquiry-based, cross-subject methods inspired by the IB Primary Years Programme. Lessons are in English with language support, Indonesian is taught twice a week, and Friday afternoons are given to 'Skills of the Future' sessions such as public speaking, budgeting and AI literacy.

Classes are led by expatriate homeroom teachers, and a school bus with teachers on board runs from Berawa and Pererenan. Published tuition runs from about IDR 112 million a year in Grade 1 to IDR 129 million in Grade 6, plus annual resources and capital levies.
