Bali Island School (formerly Bali International School)

Bali Island School was founded in September 1986 as Bali International School and took its current name in 2014 under an Indonesian ministerial decree on education; many families still know it as BIS. The school's campus is on Jalan Danau Buyan in Sanur, convenient for families living in Sanur, Renon, Denpasar and the wider south of the island.

The school is authorised by the International Baccalaureate to teach all three programmes, and describes itself as the only school on Bali offering the full IB continuum: the Primary Years Programme from preschool to Grade 5, the Middle Years Programme from Grade 6 to 10 and the IB Diploma in Grades 11 and 12.
