Amed Honeycomb School

Unclaimed
A small non-profit British-curriculum school in Amed, East Bali, from Nursery to Year 11 with IGCSE exams, set up by local parents in 2022.
Amed Honeycomb School

Amed Honeycomb School was set up in 2022 by a group of parents in Amed, on Bali's north-east coast, after months of homeschooling their children. It is run by a non-profit foundation, Yayasan Amed Sentral Edukasi, and its purpose-built campus opened in September 2022. It is the main international option for families in East Bali, far from the schools of the south.

The school follows the British National Curriculum, adapted with local and global perspectives, from the Early Years Foundation Stage through primary (Years 1–6) to secondary (Years 7–11), with students sitting Cambridge IGCSE exams at the end. Bahasa Indonesia and Pancasila are also taught, and the school holds Indonesian accreditation for its kindergarten and for its learning-centre (PKBM) status, so students can gain Indonesian certification too.

Early Years and Primary classes are held in open-air Javanese joglo pavilions built from recycled wood, while older students have air-conditioned classrooms. There is a teaching pool, a covered gym and a tree-house playground. Published 2026–27 fees run from about IDR 76 million a year in Key Stage 1 to IDR 95 million in secondary, plus a one-time enrolment fee.
