Ekamai International School

Ekamai International School is a non-profit, co-educational Christian school run by the Seventh-day Adventist Mission in Thailand. It began in 1946 as a church school on Phaya Thai Road, moved to its current site off Ekkamai (Sukhumvit 63) in 1957 and took its present name in 1993. Spiritual values and character education are central to school life, and students from all faith backgrounds attend.

The school has about 1,770 students. Most are Thai, and around 20 nationalities are represented. It is split into a kindergarten (Pre-K to K3), an elementary school (Grades 1 to 5), a middle school (Grades 6 to 8) and a high school (Grades 9 to 12). English is the language of instruction. The programme is American-style with Advanced Placement courses, and graduates can take a general diploma or a college-preparatory diploma with a business, medicine or engineering emphasis. EIS is accredited by WASC (until 2029) and the Adventist Accrediting Association and belongs to ISAT and EARCOS.

The campus has separate buildings for each section, a football field, a covered court, the Milne Auditorium, libraries and science labs. Pathfinder and Adventurer clubs run camping and outdoor leadership activities. Fees are lower than at most Bangkok international schools: annual fees for 2026/27 are about THB 173,500 to 189,000 from Pre-K to Grade 8 and about THB 180,000 to 188,000 in high school. New students also pay a THB 150,000 registration fee and a refundable THB 100,000 development fund deposit.
