The Korean International School of Bangkok was founded in 2001 to serve Korean families living in Thailand. For many years it was in Nong Chok on the eastern edge of Bangkok. In 2020 it moved to its current premises on Soi Ram Intra 13 Yaek 4 in Bang Khen district, in north Bangkok.
The school follows the Korean national curriculum from Grade 1 to Grade 12, across elementary, middle and high school divisions, and teaches mainly in Korean. Students also take dedicated English and Thai lessons, and an after-school programme includes TOEFL preparation and creative activities. It is a small school, with fewer than 200 students. Most graduates go on to universities in Korea through special admission routes for Korean students educated overseas.
The school is designed for Korean-speaking families, and admissions and family communication are handled mainly in Korean. Fees are not published in English, so families should contact the school office directly for current tuition and admission requirements.
