The Australian International School Bangkok (AISB) was founded in 2002 and has more than 900 students from about 60 countries. Its main campus is on Sukhumvit Soi 31 in Wattana, a leafy residential area within reach of the BTS and MRT. It teaches Foundation to Year 12, and its Highfield and Kirribilli buildings house the secondary school. A separate early years campus on Sukhumvit Soi 20 in Khlong Toei, the school's original site, takes children from 18 months to Year 1.
Early years follow Australia's Early Years Learning Framework, and the primary years follow the Australian curriculum with an inquiry-based approach. In Years 7 and 8 the Australian curriculum is combined with elements of Cambridge Lower Secondary. From Year 9 students start the two-year Cambridge IGCSE, and they then move on to Cambridge AS and A Levels. Daily PE, swimming lessons and a co-curricular programme of sport, music and performing arts are part of the timetable, and all classroom teachers are native English speakers.
Facilities at Soi 31 include science laboratories, a woodwork workshop, an Innovation Centre for STEAM, a sports centre, a covered sports field, a swimming pool, a learning hub and library, an art and design studio and a secondary student lounge. Both campuses have covered pools. Tuition for 2026–27 runs from THB 413,000 for Foundation to THB 505,000–522,000 in Years 3 to 6, THB 532,000 in Years 7 and 8 and THB 542,000–554,000 in Years 9 to 12. Early years fees at Soi 20 start at THB 286,000 for three days a week. There is a THB 90,000 registration fee and a THB 4,000 application and assessment fee.
