Australian International School (AIS) Singapore

The Australian International School (AIS) was founded in 1993 and is part of the Cognita group. It teaches around 2,500 students from more than 50 nationalities, about half of them from Australia and New Zealand, on a single campus at 1 Lorong Chuan in the north-east of Singapore.

Younger students follow the IB Primary Years Programme together with the Australian Curriculum. In secondary, students take Cambridge IGCSEs and then choose between the IB Diploma and the New South Wales Higher School Certificate (HSC) in Years 11–12. The HSC route gives an ATAR for Australian university entry, and AIS is one of very few schools in Singapore that offers it.

AIS is accredited by CIS and WASC, and the campus includes a full-size sports oval, aquatic facilities and specialist arts and design-technology spaces. Fees for 2026 come to roughly S$42,000–53,000 a year, plus a one-time facility fee. Scholarships are offered at secondary level.
