RD American School (RDAS) opened in January 2026 at 3 Changi Business Park Vista in the east of Singapore. The elementary school is on Level 3 of the building. The school worked with US architect Trung Lê on its learning spaces: open-plan learning commons, a library, flexible classrooms, art areas and a 'visual thinking' lab, with green walls throughout. The building is a short distance from Expo MRT and Changi Business Park.
RDAS follows an American curriculum. The school has an academic partnership with Riverdale Country School, a private K-12 school in New York founded in 1907, and stresses research-based teaching under a 'High Challenge, High Support' approach. A personalised-learning programme called MyPath tracks each child's interests and progress. The school opened with Grades 1–5, fees are now published for Grades 6–8, and the high school is scheduled to open in August 2027.
Enrolment is still small because the school is in its first years. Students must hold a Dependant's Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass, PR or a similar status; student passes are not accepted. Annual tuition for 2026–27 is S$40,900 for Grades 1–5 and S$44,581 for Grades 6–8, before GST. New students also pay one-off application and registration fees. The school charges no ongoing building or development levy.
