Sekolah Lentera Kasih (SLK) Sunter is the flagship of the Lentera Schools group, a family of Christian schools that also runs campuses in Bali and Makassar. The group's Lollypop Preschool opened in 1993 and SLK followed in 1997, so children can stay on the same Sunter site from toddler age to Grade 12. The modern campus on Jalan Sunter Permai Raya has indoor and semi-outdoor courts, an auditorium, a library, music room, Mac and Windows labs, science labs and a maker space.
SLK is a registered SPK school and part of the Cambridge International Schools network. Elementary (Grades 1–6) follows Cambridge Primary, with no formal exams in Grades 1 and 2 to ease the move from preschool. Middle School (Grades 7–10) covers Cambridge Lower Secondary, with Checkpoint in Grade 8 and IGCSE in Grade 10, and High School (Grades 11–12) leads to Cambridge A Levels. Mandarin is taught as an enrichment subject, alongside the required Indonesian national subjects. Its senior high school holds an 'A' rating from Indonesia's national accreditation board.
The school describes itself as a Christ-centred 'family school'. Fees are not published; contact the school for current figures.
