North Jakarta Intercultural School (NJIS) is on Jl. Boulevard Bukit Gading Raya in Kelapa Gading, one of the few international schools serving families in the north of the city. The school says it has been educating students for more than 30 years, and today has students from over 20 countries, including Indonesia, China, Japan and Korea.

NJIS is an IB World School authorised for all three main programmes: the Diploma Programme (2021), the Primary Years Programme and the Middle Years Programme (both 2021). Early years combine the PYP with the English Early Years Foundation Stage, students take MYP e-assessments in MYP 5, and Grades 11 and 12 study for the IB Diploma, with extra subjects available online through Pamoja. Indonesian students also take Indonesian to meet national diploma requirements. The school also states that it is WASC-accredited.

The campus of more than 1.5 hectares includes a performing arts centre with a large LED screen, a six-lane semi-Olympic swimming pool, an indoor gym, fitness centre and climbing wall, science and computer labs, a STEM and design space, and music and dance rooms. NJIS runs a school bus service and offers scholarships through an entrance test and interview. Its published fees for 2027/28 range from about IDR 73 million a year in preschool to about IDR 272 million in the Diploma years, including the annual capital charge.
