Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS)

Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS) was founded in 1951 to serve the city's international community and is one of the oldest international schools in Indonesia. Today it educates more than 2,000 students from over 70 nationalities, from Early Years through Grade 12.

JIS runs three campuses in South Jakarta. Two elementary campuses – Pattimura in Kebayoran Baru and Pondok Indah – each take children from Early Years to Grade 5, while the Cilandak campus on Jalan Terogong Raya houses the Middle School and High School. In Grades 9 to 12 students can follow the IB Diploma Programme or the College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) programme, so families can choose the pathway that suits their child and their university plans.

JIS is accredited by WASC, the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the International Baccalaureate, is a member of EARCOS and is recognised as an Apple Distinguished School.
